These things a small but mighty! I agree with another reviewer that they are flexible like a paper clip, but stay on well. I was wearing them everyday for about a week for up to 4 hours straight a day. A couple of times I wore them more than 4 hours, but with breaks in between. They are the perfect painful pinch to be pleasurable, but not so much that you have to take them off after 10-15 minutes like most nipple clamps. Great for nipple play and light exhibitionism because without a bra on they make your nipples VERY noticeable. With a bra on they are more intense as the bra applies pressureand push your nipple down on the points that are touching the nipple. My nipples are delightfully sore after wearing them. Very fun and one of my fave toys I have bought recently.
